Rather than go to therapy, Katy writes stories and hopes that her friends and family don’t realize they’ve become her characters.
I’m Katy, and I write stories. Some are fiction. Some are not. I like to make my main characters the underdog. I've been published in literary magazines, and I’ve written two novels. I'm a writer and editor for a national engineering and surveying organization and a fiction editor for Identity Theory.
When I'm not writing, I'm traveling the country following my favorite musicians and collecting oddities for my menagerie. I was born and raised in South Carolina. I live in Anderson with my spouse and two dogs, Finn and Betty Anne.
